Mr. Dubuque's #SongOfTheWeek 10/12 - 10/18/2015

My song of the week is from what I would consider the golden age of rap... and if that makes me sound old, so be it. I am a fan of the genre, but am limited as to what I can share as much of the lyrical content isn't necessarily appropriate. That being said, please enjoy a song from a hip-hop group (they used come in groups) called Arrested Development. Their sound was laid back but always had a much bigger, poignant message. My song of the week is Mr. Wendal, a song about a homeless man and the society he lives in. It's one of those make-you-think songs even if you don't quite agree with the message. It is also a pretty solid dance song... and I can say that as I am always the best dancer in whatever room I am in. Enjoy.
