Mr. Dubuque's #SongOfTheWeek 1/5 - 1/11/2015

You kids these days and your Dub Step... it's not a new sound. For decades electronic music has existed, sometimes more popular than others. In the mid/late 90's, it had a resurgence. Many artists like Prodigy, Air, Aphex Twin, and Tricky became almost mainstream. The influence was seen in traditional rock/pop acts, like U2 and Nine Inch Nails. Of all the "Electronica" artists that gained fame, none gained quite as much as the Chemical Brothers from England. Their album Dig Your Own Hole is an incredible listen through and through. My song of the week is 10th song from the album and a fitting way to start the new year: Where Do I Begin featuring the vocals of Beth Orton.
