Mr. Dubuque's #SongOfTheWeek 2/23 - 3/1/2015

I'm going to slow it down here. There was a time when singers had soul. There was a time in which they also wrote their own songs. And there was also a time in which singers told stories, meaningful stories. My song of the week is a song from 1988 that depicts an intense, emotional series of events that even though we may have never experienced a journey like the one she sings about, after hearing it, you will feel like you were there. The song is called Fast Car by Tracy Chapman.
