Mr. Dubuque's #SongOfTheWeek 2/9 - 2/15/2015

I wouldn't say I am a huge fan of this group, but they do have a handful of good songs. They came to prominence when I was senior in high school/freshman in college. Their sound was at unique at the time, blending rock/metal with hip-hop & reggae. They also ushered in other artists that brought their own hybridized sound in the late 90's. And, one of the things I like most about 311's music is many of their songs have a good message. This is their first big hit from 1996, Down.
